hi everyone,

i am not sure that i am in the right forum here. i am a senior who visits chiang mai, for 4 months every winter, from canada.

i now realize that i need to find "fiber". in canada i buy "flax meal" and would like to find out if i can find that in chiang mai, or a good equivelant , or if i need to bring a 4 mo. supply.

i did look for a medical forum, but nothing there seemed to apply to me. my husband and i are artists, and have been visiting c.m. for the last 10 years.

Try the food forum for recipes that contain high fibre foods. If you don't cook, at least you will know what to look for or order..... unpolished rice etc. Beans, greens, fruit.....

Baan Suan Pak, near the President Hotel iin Chiang Mai is a proper health food store with wheat grass juice, carrot juice, whole grain baked goods and the things that you are looking for.

It is nothing like a health food store in San Francisco, but OK for the midle of South East Asia.
