you could try Pantip plaza on Changklan rd. Theres a shop that does video format conversions, but im not sure as to video8. Theyre on the ground floor by the Bangkok bank, torwards the rear of the complex.

Will try Pantip plaza soon!!!

there's another one @ icon square, next to computer plaza. on mani noppharat rd.

shop is open "now & then". guy is ok. charge is 250bht/hour; of tape-time na.

you enter, staircase to left, on 1st floor u turn left, pass an ever over-crowded cd/dvd/games store. there it is.

enjoy na :-)

There are also a couple up on the 4th Floor, over towards the food court as well.

If you have a player, I can copy them for you, but you do need to provide me with a player...

I have a video player that I brought over from England. Had it repaired and works fine.

So if you want to link up, pm me.

Must tell you that when converting analogue to digital, expect a substantial loss in quality.

Also that my player is pal 25fps system. If the videos are ntsc 29fps system, than my player will not recognise the format.

pal (Europe, Thailand) ntsc (United States).
