Hi there - I need to find when Golden Gym is. Apparently it is off 3rd Road, 100 metres towards South pattaya road. A soi nmber would be extremely helpful.

100 meters is about correct? if you're heading on south pattaya rd (like coming from the friendship market) you would turn left

on 3rd rd (as in heading north) and it's on your right-hand side about 100m up right before 93 mile pub. you'll know it because

there is a rank of about 5-6 obnoxious motorbike taxi guys outside. why do businesses open and then allow these dufuses there?

they had a website http://golden-gym.pattaya-club.com/ which worked yesterday but can't get it to open now? pretty good selection of

freeweights and machine, also muay-thai training available i believe. the nicest thing about it was almost always completely empty? but as

i said they allow these taxi vermin to camp outside ( they pay a small amount of rent for the business space) but it's false economy because

they're clapping and yelling and even more stupidly, insulting patrons coming and going and folks don't lke being pestered. it's indicative of

the larger problem with 10X more motorbike taxis than are necessary and while some of the guys ARE nice, decent people a lot of them

are total dirtbags, running away from prblems in their home province to "work" in patters. rent a motorbike, buy a vest and they're in

business, no vetting, no background checks and generally all they do is cause problems for other thais and foreigners alike.
