Good Thai Food Near Le Meredien

Featured Replies

First post here, although a regular traveller to the LOS. Anyone have any ideas for good places to eat in the vicinity of Le Meredian in Surawong Rd?

I think there are so many in the area that nobody knows where to start. The new Le Meridien on Surawong is right in the middle of everything. For lunch just about everywhere on the roadside if you are looking for street food. For really good street food that is popular with the office lunch crowd cut thru Patpong over to Silom and on to Soi Convent. These outdoor stalls are popular both day and night. There are several Thai restaurants such as Bua next to Starbucks.

If you are looking for nice Thai Restaurant for the evening the one that comes to mind near the hotel is Mango Tree on Soi Tawana just across from the hotel. It's very popular and you always seem to need a reservation.

Any questions feel free to PM me.
