Good, Clean, Inexpensive Hotel In Kl

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've searched the forums but can't find anything relevant so decided to post;

I'm going on a visa trip to Kuala Lumpur next week and would appreciate any input from anyone who might know of a good hotel - preferably not too far from the Thai embassy.

I've found a few nice looking places online but am on a budget and would like to track down an inexpensive place to kip for two or three nights - the only thing I really need is internet in the room -

any help would be appreciated,

best regards,

Phil.

Hi Phil, I have not been to the hotel myself but go on to Air Asia web site, click on hotel tab (not Flights). Input city KL.

You will see hotels form £18 per night and Air asia's hotel "Tune Hotel" is there at £18 but you then pick all the exras for yourself, ie towels £1, you need to follow the booking links to find out the room wi-fi costs but they do have room wi-fi available. Its all buisiness for Air Asia who deserve it and just look at there air fares and destinations. I am coming to Thailand for 6 months in Oct and my return fights for England to Phuket is £273, thats 4 flights in total and i ain't got worry about Bangkok airport, that gets a wide berth, cheers Garry

I recently stayed at the Citrus Hotel, which was not quite as nice as the pictures suggest, but it was passable for the price. Expedia typically has a good price for that property. Some of the room rates will include in room wireless internet service which was consistently reliable during my 4 day stay. The hotel is about a 10 - 15 min walk from the monorail.

I passed by the aforementioned Tune Hotel and it looked interesting and was a bit closer to the monorail station.

HTH...
