I will be going to nong kai to activate the 2nd of my 2x 60 day tourist visa,nowi have done this before last year and i paid for visa to lao and got the visa stamp,now can you leave thailand without obtaining the visa stamp to lao and just cross the border get stamp out go in to lao and then enter back in to thailand with all the necassary stamps, and then at thai border activate the next sixty days.

just curious if i wasted paying the 1300 baht last time or am i required to get the visa.

You have to enter Laos and return. This means you will need a Visa to enter Laos.

they should do a free visa like thailand for 15 days.
