Police officers recently received a report that a ‘Cat Fight’ had broken out in a Beer

Bar in Soi 7, which had left some girls with injuries.

Upon their arrival at the bar the police discovered three injured women, who were still fighting, much to the amusement of tourists and residents, police officers quickly put a stop to it.

The three ladies, Miss Waraporn, aged 25, and Miss Saithong, aged 21, both from the Suphanburi province, along with Miss Salocha, aged 42, were all taken along to the police station to get to the bottom of the situation.

In typical Thai women style, the whole incident stemmed from nothing. Miss Salocha, told officers that she was at the bar drinking with her foreign friend, and his 16 year old son. The two girls persuaded the 16 year old to buy them drinks and when she told them to leave, they slapped her, so she fought back by grabbing a long knife to defend herself.

The two young ladies from Suphanburi Province, sustained knife wounds to their foreheads and heads, whilst Miss Salocha, sustained bruises and a cut to he eyebrow.

However, the two young ladies denied this is how the argument started. They claim that Miss Salocha, had been a customer in the bar a few days earlier with her friend, when they were presented with the bill at the end of the night, because the bar was closing, she became abusive and argumentative, although nothing further happened.

On the evening of the trouble, Miss Salocha, was back again with her friend, she was in a drunk condition, and was very abusive and looking for trouble. One of the girls admitted that she had slapped Miss Salocha around the face, to try and curb her bad language, at which point, she had took out the long knife from her handbag and attacked the two young ladies.

The difference in stories, led to further arguments at the police station and the officers ran out of patience. They shipped the injured ladies off to hospital for treatment, with appointments to return back to the station, for further questioning, when they were all in a cooler frame of mind.
