July 17, 200917 yr On leaving it is not importend, just make sure you have the re-entry permit before you go to the airport. When coming back you just have to make sure you fill in the number of the re-entry permit on your arrival card, at immigration I normaly state that I have a r-entry pemit as well. They will then stamp you in with your current permission to stay. Always check that they indeed gave you the days till your permission to stay ends and not only 30 days. Mistakes do happen!
July 17, 200917 yr Author Wow, nice reply. The reason this question arose was because usually, when you stamp out, the immigration will stamp a stamp near your entry stamp, sort of showing that the exit cancels out your entry. It makes people figure as if the reentry permit needs to be shown prior to exit to preserve your visa, going by the above common sense deduction. Guess things work differently.
