Just came back from the immigration office. Staff has been instructed to pack their documents for moving to their new office in Chaeng Wattana, Prakred.

Anyone has an idea of the definite date for the shift?

Believe someone mentioned holiday of August 12 but have not seen anything but that rumor. Nothing official.

I've been there yesterday also, but its seems that not everybody is moving, there is a lot of uncertainty amongst the staff. Some people are completely in the dark about the move.

But it will be likely end of Agust or beginning of September so its seems

According to someone on the inside the Immigration Office is moving most of it's people from Suanphlu to Chaeng Wattana on the 12th of August (the Queen's birthday and a public holiday). I haven't heard any public announcement about this.

May be a rumor but it is less than a month away so I thought maybe somebody knows more about it. It seems much too intelligent to do the move during a holiday so naturally I find the information suspect.
