Khun Jean
Dubstar keeps on dubing. With a UK pasport she is a UK citizen. IF she has no criminal record she has as much change of not being allowed in the country as you. Forget about how your wife looks like, she is british! samran
2) No, usually the other way around, when Thai's trying to enter Thailand on the Thai PP have been told that that they should use their foriegn PP as that is the PP they were stamped out of the last country of. This only tends to happen at land borders if you have been travelling around Asia on your foreign PP. By the way, this point only happens when you get a immigration officer on a power trip, giving you the wrong information as to ones rights entering Thailand. Doesn't happen to me at Don Muang as the immigration officers there, while over worked, know their job and don't care where you have just travelled from. dubstar
Just for the record... Have just returned from 3 fantastic weeks in LOS using British passports. On arrival at Don Muang we joined the Foreign Passports queue where we were greeted with a smile by a young officer who politely and efficiently checked our passports stamping us both in for 30 days without asking a single question. On departure we were stamped out equally politely with only a comment that my wifes new style passport was very nice. All that worry for nothing! Its the Brit Book from now on and if we want to stay longer longer we'll just get a visa. Regards, Dubstar
Rinrada
Never ever had any problems going in/out and would agree that overall the immigration officers have always been, helpfull (one particular occasion) polite and even smiling...first impressions count so much. A little bit of praise when and where its due ...glad you had a good time
