Free 60 Day Single Entry Visa. Can I Get It In Panang?

Featured Replies

This would be on my second 60 day visa (which I will get in canada) I'm reading different reports on 15 day & 30 day visas... Can someone confirm that the 60 day free visa is is obtainable in Penang. (I will be entering by land)

Thanks

i think there is a big post about this now in another forum. You should look at that "breaking news" that guy had 2 already and was refused. I guess they are tired doing it for free. But Kula Lumpur is still OK!

Sorry, maybe I was unclear, My first single entry 60 day visa ends Jan 1st (not the best of times to end:) Need to extend around mid Dec. 2009.

That is way too far away to give specific advise. Yes, currently the 60 day tourist visa is free and yes currently you should be able to obtain a second one.

Thanks, yes I know it's far in advance, But I'm flying to The PI also and need this info in order to decide about my departure being before or after Xmas/New Year's - I don't want to be stuck in a place I don't want to be around this time because of a visa issue.

P.S. Air fares are cheaper in Jan. :)
