I just scan-read through 20 pages to find a thread about Sony Playstation 3s, there is nothing.

I am looking to buy a Sony Playstation 3 and have enquired at various shops. Does 15,000baht for an 80GB model sound reasonable?

Can anyone offer advice about what to check for to avoid getting scammed? What extras should be offered?

Opinions please.

Whatever the current price, you should be aware that the new PS3 'Slim' is due out very shortly and is 'touted' to be introduced at a cheaper price than the current version. I personally plan to wait a month or two for that .
