Hi:

Any help with this would be great & simple the better as I am not too fast with the techie stuff!

Filmed video clips from mobile phone Nokia E90, I transfer to the PC...

1. I am not sure what the hel_l format the Nokia Mobile clips are in to being with.

2. I want to "convert" them & which format is better for

e.g. A. email video clip to me mother? (or post privately online youtube.com

same clip or flickr.com or open to suggestion to email me mother video clips

from Nokia mobile of new baby.. before my mother wrath explodes! )

3. What format is best or more to the point what open source or free software

is best for me, a technophobe, to convert these bloody Nokia mobile filmed

clips, to best video file format to use?

4. Also what format is best to use if I wanted to edit or tidy up the Nokia mobile

filmed, vid clips, in Movie Maker?

5. Any other easy to use, open source or free & simple software anyone recommends

that is easy to edit basic clips with. ( I actually find Move Maker for me

not too user friendly...)

If anyone can urgently give me any answers to the above, it would be greatly

appreciated, as I think my mother is going to fly to Thailand & Kick my butt

if I do not get some video clips to her today of her grandson!

Thanks

Gerry

if I'm not mistaken the video format of your phone is MPEG-4 which is good because that you don't need to convert to anything in order to upload to the web, it's one of the most common formats used out there. YouTube will certainly accept that format. (You can check the format by rightclicking the video files and select properties, in one of the tabs in there will be some info on the video format.)

About the editing software I can't really help you, never tried that myself.

Yes, their MPEG-4 File great Step 1 established.

Now for Editing, as there shall me free krav maga self defense video training clips on kravmagathailand.com newsletter soon.

Phone to film is easier as opposed to me setting up my slightly aged Sony DVR Hi8 2002 cam.

For editing in simple way, & posting on my web site, see video section kravmagathailand.com for some examples others filmed

& gave to me... What is the best format for me to Convert these MPEG-4 into & what is best for editing them?

Krav Maga Video training free for you all you helps coming in a few weeks in return for answer to this question, just join email list on
