khunbigjohn
Hi, Has anyone had this treatment and does it work? I have a tooth that's been giving me problems for the last 2 years. I originally had the root canal and crown work done about 25 years ago and now it's been flaring up. I am currently taking an antibiotic to knock down the infection. Can anyone recommend an endodontist in Bangkok? Any idea on the costs? Thanks!
lopburi3
I have been using Vejthani Hospital for dental work for the last 4 years and I (and family who also use) have been happy with them. Not as cheap as some soi clinics, but less than the foreign targeted dental hospitals and all specialists and good/clear facilities. I have not had root canal treatment during this period however so have no real idea of price. They have two full time endodontic doctors on staff. But suspect most hospitals have good dental units. ericg1953
Go to see an endodontist(root canal specialist) at Dental Hospital Bangkok....located on Sukhumvit 49...dentalhospitalbangkok.com...they have great dentists there and an endodontist on staff as well as a prosthodontist(crown&bridge) specialist. They should be able to sort out your problem. Not the cheapest but always quality work. With something like you have I wouldnt let money be the deciding factor....best to find good quality work
billp
I've just had quite a bit of work done at Asanavant Dental Clinic, corner of Sukhumvit and Thonglor, which came highly recommended to me. The work included re-doing two root canals, which was done by Dr. Jaruma Sakdee Vegas, an extremely competent and charming young woman who got her advanced degree from Harvard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and the clinic as a whole, which is comfortable, very well-equipped and efficient, and employs top-ranked people. billp
Oh just to add, which was not clear in my posting, Dr. Jaruma is an endodontist, ie a root canal specialist. Certificate in Endodontics and D.M.Sc. in Oral Biology from Harvard University.
