My thai gf was issued a 1 year multiple entry visa to the usa last sept, since then she has been to the us two times and they have given her each time 6 months to stay, she did not over stay and always returned early. Her visa is expiring in a month and wanted to know what is the process to reapply? Do I need to do the visa application all over again? If it helps she has stayed with me both times and arrived at the same airport. I am currently in usa because of my grad program and she is back home in thailand. We would like her to come back soon but need to renew? the visa. What are her chances of getting a 10 year visa? your guys help is needed because we need to get started on this.

Basicaly what is our first step?

She applies for a new visa. As you seem to indicate you obtained the first visa have to ask were you living in Thailand at the time and provided links to remain here (as is sounds)? In that case her status and reason for return has changed and a tourist visa might be less likely to be issued without proof of your intended return. The reasoning you have to overcome is that she will go to US and marry and then apply for change of status (avoiding the normal immigrant visa process). If that is questioned she could point out that if she intended to do that she could do so now as she has a valid visa. If your intent is to return to Thailand I would provide a paper, notarized, to that effect - they may not even accept it but they will still be aware such a letter was written.

If she obtained on her own paperwork it is very likely to be approved, and most likely 10 years, with her record of travel.

on her first visa i just gave her a letter saying that she was going to stay with me in america, all the rest was her own paperwork. So is it better to apply for a new visa before the current one expires? So basicaly it is the same exact process as beore? Thanks for your help

There is no need to apply early unless it fits travel plans. Should be the same process and the trips with return should help.
