Cheap Shipping From London To Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I am after some cheap shipping from London UK to Bangkok.

It will be two boxes of approx 15kg each and with dimensions of 48 x 32 x 48 cm.

I've had a look at some sites like DHL but they quote around £200.

I was wondering if anyone know of any slow, sea shippers that charged less than that?

There is no rush when I get them by.

Thanks

You wont get better than Kangaroo International, 1 David Rd, Colnbrook, London. They can offer courier or cargo rates.

Funny name, I know, but apparently they are a British company, nothing to do with Oz.

If you are flying to BKK several times, you might get a good deal with British Airways, then you could fly with your packages as excess baggage.

It works with British Airways because they have cheap rates for excess baggage - you can check in a extra item of luggage up to 23 KG for £72, and up to 32 KG for £97 .

It's a bad idea with most other airlines, as they charge by the Kilo (not per item) for excess baggage!

Look for shippers near you on this site www.bar.co.uk

Thanks people. I am flying with Thai Airways so have already booked. Not sure how much they charge for excess. I have an allowance of 20kg but would probably need 32kg altogether.

Will have a look at those two sites.
