Hey everyone,

Looking for like minded people who love speaking thai and love singing thai songs!แบบว่าเพลงไทยที่จับใจนะคับ . i'm from Australia. I've been here for almost 4 years. I'm a musician and i'm really interested in setting up gigs that consist of 2 farangs or more who can do a decent job performing good thai tunes(there's good money to be made here if it's done well). I suspect not, but am curious to know if you mean ก้อ as แสดงอาการเจ้าชู้ How do you translate ภาษาไทยก้อ

is it 'flirtatious Thai'? happilly it fits nicely, or is it a misspelling of ก็ ?

Good question. As you know, ก็ is the correct spelling in thai.ก้อ implies the same meaning in the same context.If you speak more than a few words in thai you will know what i'm talking about. Just a spin on the spelling here. Based on pronunciation .. ก้อ or ก็ implies that you have more to say about the subject your talking about

I think he meant ก็ได้ as you said tgeezer and if he spoke more than a few words in thai he would know that.

I can't remember seeing many hill tribe karoke clips but then, I don't get around much anymore.

Hey, Mark, I sent you an e-mail, did you get it? Maybe interested, I'm a musician/singer, too, also interested, so if you're serious, get in touch. As far as ก็ vs ก้อ goes (there's a pun in there!), anyone who's read many Thai posts or e-mails, or been in Thai chat rooms will recognize them as interchangeable, in fact you don't see the "correct" word ก็ often at all, there are a lot of words that are mostly used in deviant (555) spellings, purists all over the world are grinding their teeth, I'm sure. cu later!
