300 Day Visa ?

Featured Replies

I have seen an advertisement fof 300 days visa on the one of the Bangkok Japanese Community paper.

It says any one can apply for this visa and application fee is 8000 Baht.

I think this visa is sort of student visa but I don't have details.

Does any one knows about details of this visa?

A 300 day visa?

Hard to tell without more details, but sounds fishy.

Nothing I know of. Sounds like a scam.

I got this 300 days Visa information at URL below. It is written in Japanese.

http://www.kaosan.info/visa/long.html?gcli...CFc0vpAodrgiY_Q

Here is the simple translation of this URL.

"Permit to stay 300days without visa trip.

No need to do 90 days visa run.

It is not very clear but It seems that Fee for visa service is 8000 Baht + 3900 Baht.

This Fee include application for the first time and also include application for visa extention 3times in a year.

There application fee will be 2000Baht and 1900 Baht to immigration every 3month.

It will take about 2month to prepare the all necessary documents.

Once the all the documents are prepared,

you need to submit application at Thai Embassy out side of Thailand.

It takes about 2days to get Visa."

Does indeed look like an ED visa, without the need to study or only study on paper.

The company offering it is based in Thailand.

I don't know the company, but if it is indeed an ED visa they will get you I would not recommend it.

Just had a friend came back from Vietnam, I think Ho Chi Min city. He rekons they will issue you a 3 years non o mulitple at Thai embassy. Now that is worth ivestgation

300 days does not make three years. A multiple entry non-O visa is valid for travel to Thailand within 365 days from its date of issue, not 300 days.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Actually there is (at least there is a 3 year non-B ) :)

14000 Rupees on this page http://www.vfs-thailand.co.in/visafees.html IIRC this visa does NOT allow a work permit, it is intended for frequent business visitors.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

The post was non immigrant O visa. There is no such visa valid for 3 years.

Yes. That is a Non B Visa and not easy to get.

Agreed. Note to self, read posts more carefully :)

So what is the requirement, now we have established the facts. Who would be eligible for that visa? EG I am a British National working in Middle East; I work on a 35 x 35 day rotation. That means I enter Thailand lets say 6 times a year. The present time I am on NON O Retirement that can be quite expensive. Afore mentioned visa would be far cheaper, less hassle. Every year having to apply, not only the extension but for a multiple re-entry visa. Guys lets have some positive replies please.
