Iain I'm not quite sure why, but so far, 58 people who don't know where to purchase decent cigars in Chiang Mai have read this! Just as well I happened to be passing by. Although I don't smoke, I have heard of cigar-smoking customers using either the Whiskey shop on Changklan Rd in the night Bazaar or the whiskey store on Charoen Prathet Rd, on the block just before Porn Ping Hotel. I think the second one has a better selection (Sadomnoeng, is it's name). There was a fancy shop opened up somewhere along the river selling only cigars, I believe ,but I don't think they lasted long. I'm pretty sure they closed. Congratulations on the forthcoming addition to the family. Edited August 3, 2009 by KevinHunt
Ulysses G.
Sergio at BUONISSIMO Italian restaurant used to have Cuban and other high quality cigars that were kept fresh properly. I'm not sure if he still sells them.
