Mum Aroy Restaurant

If you're coming from the direction of Pattaya Klang toward Pattaya Nua on Sukhumvit, go on past Pattaya Nua and look for a triangular pink and green neon sign in Thai (two triangles nested, pointing up). It will be on the left. This is the sign for Mum Aroy. Take the left at the sign, go down to the dead end and turn right. Restaurant will be on your left, parking on the right.

followed the above direction and failed miserably - we turned around twice and still didn't see the triangular pink and green neon sign :):D We ended up at Pattaya Sea Food

Drive up sukhumvit towards Sri Racha (from Pattaya) at the Banglamung police station ,its massive you cannot miss it ,turn left into the soi drive down it to the end ,take the right hand turn(behind banglamung police station) go to the end of the soi ,about 500 yards and park in their car park :)

we eat there regularaly ,as do hordes of people from all around ,the food is terrific and not overpriced .

Thaimate, that's a different Mum Aroi, the one in Banglamung. The OP is asking for the one in Pattaya.

Finding Mum Aroi in Pattaya is easy.

Drive down 3rd road from Central Road towards North Pattaya Road. There is only one stop light. Mum Aroi is at that intersection.

Turn left at the stop light interesection, then immediately turn left into the parking lot. That's Mum Aroi's parking lot, right in front of the restaurant.

In other words, Mum aroi is on the southwest corner of the only intersection that has a traffic light on Third Road between Central and North Pattaya roads.

Here's a link that shows the exact corner:

There are actually three, one on third road, one at Naklua and one in Sriricha (the best)

The one in Naklua is easier to find if you head down Naklua road (from the Dolphin roundabout) all the way, past the large tree (covered in offerings) over a small wooden bridge, keep straight. Finally you will see the road head to the right (which would take you to the Sukumvit,) ignore this and go straight, and you cant miss it.

So basically straight from the dolphin roundabout - along Naklua road - straight until you can't go any further!

The one in third road is behind the bar called 'the cottage'

The one in Sriracha is off the same turning as you would take to the hospital!

Drive up Second Road past the Dolphin Roundabout and continue straight on through Naklua when the road bends right to go to Sukhumvit next to the Banglamung Police Station, continue to go straight and you will come to Mumaroy on your left hand. (beach side).

Yes it's the one in Pattaya is what I'm looking for... you're saying it is on 3rd road not Sukhumvit as suggested by cochran :D - Thank you Jimmyd - we'll give it a try. If we like it, we'll also give the one in Banglamung a try... thank you all. :)
