Pattaya Red Shirts Hold Mock Funeral For Prime Minister On His Birthday.

Featured Replies

Pattaya, August 4 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Monday, the Prime Minister of Thailand, Khun Abhisit celebrated his 45th Birthday. For him it was a day of celebration, however for the anti-government red shirt protesters, it was a day of mourning as they changed from red shirts to black shirts and around the country they conducted mock funerals for the Prime Minister stating Monday was the day he had died. Here in Pattaya demonstrations were held in front of Pattaya City Hall by the local Red Shirt Protesters. They were well aware that the Prime Minister was in Pattaya, attending the opening ceremony of the 30th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort Peach Convention Center, but kept their protests away from the resort.
