Tourist Visa Double Entries

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

long time I didn't came back here!

Squeezed in Canada, freezing and dreaming about lucky guys enjoying their stay in Thailand.

I was wishing to verify if any new rules from Thai Immigration regarding Tourist Visa.

Can it be possible to confirm if that way is still possible if you get a Tourist Visa with Double entries in your home country.

1st Entry= 60 days

On Day 59,

Extension of 30 days at Thai Immigration Bureau in Bkk

On the last day of the 30 days extension, going for few hours in Cambodia.

Coming back to LOS using the second entry giving

60 Days again and another 30 extension on day 59

Making a total of approx 6 months in Thailand.

I would appreciate if someone can confirm this and if any new regulations are supposed to appears to make this way impossible in a nearly future.

Thanks for your help guys!

Cheers!

You don't have to wait for day 59 for the extension, you can do that a few days early and you won't lose any days. Also, you just need to make sure that you make the second entry, before the visa expiration date.

The date for second visa exit/return must be before the visa expires so may be a day or two short. Two entry visas issued locally have only a 90 day period to use both entries.

Ok Guys! Thanks for the answer!

So everything's the same about that way!

Maybee I'll see you on New year's party!

A double entry tourist visa obtained in Canada is probably valid for 6 months in which case there would be no rush to enter the second time.
