kpmsprtd
It's in Wikipedia. Look for: Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base It's at 15° 15′ 36″ N, 100° 21′ 0″ E, near the city of Nakhon Sawan.
skipvice
Takhli RTAF is still there and has a nice 9 hole golf course. Look on goggle earth and you can zoom in on it. was ststion there 1970
lopburi3
Takhli town is on the old Highway 1 at the rail crossing of the Northern line. The airbase is a few kilometers West toward Chinat. The province is Nakhon Sawan. In 1970 it was a two lane paved road with no solders - it is now a divided highway. About the only area still recognizable from that period would the the downtown area across from the railway station.

phutoie2
Takhli RTAF is still there and has a nice 9 hole golf course. Look on goggle earth and you can zoom in on it. was ststion there 1970 They have extended it with another 9 holes. The course is a bit flat and short and the fairways are awful, lack of money for maintenance. A nice clubhouse with good food and cheap beer, plus a pro shop. A neighbour in this town used to work on the RTAF C130's. We still go about twice a year for a game. 130km's west of here on the road to Chai Nat.
