niebla
My year old Toyota has a couple of dings. Any suggestions on a good body shop in Chiang Mai.
bluweyze
There is a good and cheap body shop on the Hang Dong road but he doesn't speak English. Hear towards Hang dom from the airport past Makro, just when a 7/11 shop comes into view (i.e. about 100 meters before) turn left then first left. As you go around the bend the shop is on the left. I don't think there is a sign and it is nothing fancy.
newcomer01
VN Auto on Hangdong Road. They are used by Viriyah Insurance. Did a small job my my car which was OK. Will take a couple of days even for a small bump. Coming from Hangdong. Past Big C lights. Past PPS (they have the large digital clock) Slow down, VN is on the left. If you get to Tesco you have gone too far and will have to turn around further up the road. No English speakers that were evident. Cheers.
WinnieTheKhwai
For a one year old car I'd stick with a place like VN. For old clunkers, like mine, I'd use a cheapo shop down a soi. Edited August 11, 2009 by WinnieTheKhwai
