I'm looking at flying in and out of Bkk on the same day (in from Krabi and then out to Ubon R).

The times of the Thai Airways flights are 10.10am from Krabi - arrive 11.30am and 13.40 to Ubon R. Is that too close between arrival and departure? Would I be better off getting the 5.15pm flight to Ubon R. Just don't really want to spend all afternoon in the airport...

What would you do?

No one has replied as yet but thinking about it, I think I am going to go for the later flight - just to play it safe. So, I'm now thinking - what is close to the airport that I may be able to do/visit while I wait for my flight. Will potentially have about 3-4 hours to fill up...!

2hrs 10 mins is plenty assuming the first flight is on time. I would hate to have to kill time there.

Yes even with baggage you should have around an hour to spare.
