There's No Sound On My Computer

Featured Replies

I had the software 'Max Sound' (it was called something like that, if i remember correctly) and i accidently deleted it. Now i have no sound when i play movies, access 'youtube' etc

I tried to downloading free software on line but everything kept asking me to install a disk. Most of the free stuff on line is BS, i think. Anyway, i couldn't get any of it to work.

Then, i went to Pantip Plaza and was advise to buy a disk 'Multimedia Entertainment Solution 2009' I took that home and installed loads of software from the disk. None of it has worked.

I have no idea what what i'm doing or what to do next.

Anyone got any ideas?

It might help to know what computer you have - do you have the original driver disk that came with the computer? Do you have a sound card by chance? The driver for that? What operating system are you using?

Do you mean SOUND MAX? This is a suite which comes with your motherboard.

On your motherboard CD you should find it, reinstall it.

If this is SoundMAX, try the following,
