Translation For Uk Student Visa

Featured Replies

My girlfriend is applying for a 6 month student visa for the UK, we went to the translation service today to get her tabien ban and school transcript translated into english. The translators called and said that the ministry of foreign affairs wouldn't certify the school transcript for some reason, something to do with the signatures on the original, and that we would need to go back to the school in Kalasin and get a new cert signed by the current director of the school, which is going to take a long time.

I looked on the tier 4 migrance advice pdf and it said the following about the translations:

If one of your documents is not in

English or Welsh, the original must be

sent with a fully certified translation by a

professional translator. This translation must

include:

• the translator's qualifications;

• confirmation from the translator that it

is an accurate translation of the original

document;

the date;

the translator's signature.

It doesnt mention that who has to certify the translations here, so can i get away with just getting the translator to certify it as described above?

Send them to our office we use a translation service they are stamped and signed.

You must have an official certified stamp on them , Any translation will not Do

They are official stamped and authenticated we use them for all our applications.
