Due to a misunderstanding, and a bit of stupidity on my part. I found my self on overstay. Now by my reckoning when I went to give myself up on Friday, it should have been 9,000 Baht. That's 18 days @ 500 Baht per day. Any way I was told to return on Monday, with all the requirements for my extension, I was watching the pound to get me past the 40,000 per month. Friday I was clear by 210 baht yesterday by 20 baht. So went around to the one stop service in Ranong to pay the fine, and it was only 4000 Baht. So why the reduced amount, any ideas?
