My toaster is in need of some repair work. Do any of you know if there is an agent here in Chiang Mai? Failing that is there a knowledgeable general repair shop anywhere?

There is a shop just up the road from you....on the way to Nok's shop that fixes everything. Their motto is 'if it ain't broke, we can't fix it!' . This big hardware shop has fixed almost everything I have left with them. Have your 'lazy' husband drop it by on his way to the pub......

There is an outfit on Chotana (same side and north of Rajhabat) They have a name up "Panasonic Sevice"

Give them a wide berth. They "fixed" my vacuum cleaner. 300 baht and a years gaurantee. Worked for less than five minutes and stopped.

Took it back, must have had eight people all standing around looking at it. They foned again,come and get "it all fixed now"

Same result "but maybe worked for one minute"

A real bunch of Tgai mechanics....
