i live in chiang mai and rent a house with contract in my name. I want to change my international and dutch driving license to a

thai one. I know I need the letter of residence for this. My question I have a non ed visa and a rent contract fopr 1 year will this be enough to get the letter?

The contract with 90 day reports should be enough, alternatively you should be able to get one from your embassy, although a lot more expensive.

Some Immigration Offices do not issue these any more. You will have to ask Immigration in Chiangmai

If you have a WP you can use that instead of residency letter when obtaining DL.

But the OP will not have as has ED visa.
