I don't see any discussion here about the new airport rail link.

Does anyone know if it's operational, and what hours, and how long it takes? Do they have a website for the airport rail line?

We just flew into Swampy on Saturday...no sign of the rail at all. I think I heard someone say around December now...but I'm not 100% sure.

Trial running starts in December.

The airport station is actually underneath the car park and has an exit to the Novotel too, I've not investigated the way in from the terminal (I've only been in the station itself), I suspect you just keep going down

The train is being tested on the lines now. Drove into BKK along the motorway & expressway last Wednesday, around 4.30pm, and saw the train, white with a red trim, heading out of BKK towards the airport.

If you travel light - pretty good idea, but otherwise more efficient to use a taxi.

Anyone got any updated pics of station (airport end) saw some 6-8 months ago and it was well advanced, any newer ones?

They are testing it currently. So I don't know what a trial run is, but I guess that would be trial runs of a full day of service with everything according to the schedule. Don't think they're to that stage yet but I stayed right above the track and saw commuter trains for the express service being tested daily as well as maintenance trains going back and forth to make sure everything is working properly. There is no current date set to my knowledge. They changed it from August to December and then after that another story in the news made it sound like a December opening wouldn't happen.
