A bit off topic, not Thailand related, but a computer horror story so I couldn't resist.

A man from California who met a woman in Quebec was hospitalised after he had been found wandering incoherantly in the snow by a mountie south of Winnipeg. Apparently he had tried to enter Canada at a border crossing, but because of a criminal record, was not admitted. He then tried to sneak across the border at night, but became disoriented and when found the next morning, was suffering from severe frostbite.

After loosing his fingers to frostbite he faces charges of entering Canada illegally, and deportation.

Poor guy just can't win:

- He has no girlfriend and his hands don't work anymore either.

- Unless he types well with his tongue, he can't even explain to this girl why he's late;

"i;M saorrY swwetthert bhut i haaD sum, proplems at thr bordert."

I'm finding all this 'humour' in bad taste.

I actually had a friend who lost all his fingers in an accident.

When he got to the hospital the doctors asked if he'd brought the fingers with him as they could be re-attached.

He said he would have, but he couldn't pick them up.

(well, I couldn't resist either)

At least he didn't lose any other extremities :o

Ya but he cant have a W**K any more poor sod

Perhaps he can get government funding to move to Pattaya on compassionate grounds - I am sure he'll find all the assistance he needs there.

BTW - my 'friend' tells me there are 'foot-job' websites out there - if this is possible, then I am sure he'll be able to knock one out in his palms if he gets desperate.
