Featured Replies

Pattaya, August 24 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Monday Afternoon, Police Lieutenant Colonel Wunlop from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Big C Supercenter in North Pattaya following reports of a bag snatch involving two Hungarian Tourists. Officers were met by Mrs. Hidvegi Imre Ference and her 30 year old Grandson who explained that they were inside the Supermarket on the Ground Floor when they realized that items had been stolen from a black bag held by Mrs. Ference. They were unaware of the actual theft taking place, however Security Cameras confirmed that a Thai Man and Woman had taken the items from the bag. 1,900 Euros, 3 Credit Cards, 300 Thai Baht, a Hungarian ID Card and Driving License were stolen. Security Cameras also showed the two suspected thieves leaving on a motorbike taxi. The driver was questioned and confirmed he took the two to a location in North Pattaya, however Police Units were unable to locate them. A report was made for insurance purposes at Pattaya Police Station.

Meaning..... that if you want to watch the video you have to pay $1 !!! which is a rip off :)

Well, 1900EURO'S (around 90,000 Baht), must have had quite a shopping trip planned at the pricey Big C mall! As they say a fool and their money are quickly parted. I never cease to be amazed at how many farang run around town with what amounts to a few year's income for a working Thai.

hard to believe in this day and age folks are still leaving their purses unattended while going shopping. in truth, it wasn't a bag snatch

rather their handbag appeared to have items pilfered from it? still, sad to see any senior done over this way? was she actually carrying

the bag when the items were taken? it's not clear from the story? sadly, happens everyday here.
