Thanks Get a multi entry Non-Immigrant O visa based on retirement arrangements before you return to Thailand.
August 24, 200916 yr You should be able to obtain a multi entry non immigrant O visa from Hull in UK or a Consulate in Germany such as Stuttgart, or perhaps Amsterdam. That will cover up to 15 months time having only to cross border every 90 days.
August 25, 200916 yr Agree with the above. The Non Imm O Multi entry will give you 15 months and enough time to prepare for the Retirement Extension.

Based and which category would he qualify for a Non-Immigrant O visa. He is 49 years old, not married to a Thai and presumably does not have any other relatives in Thailand so how would he qualify?
August 25, 200916 yr To Visit Friends. The above mentioned Honorary Consulates do issue for this reason.

You will be applying to visit friends. You should need no other documents than the application. The consulate in Stuttgarart issues these visas on a regular basis. Contact info follows. Stuttgart Huberstr. 4, 70174 Tel (0711) 2264844 Fax (0711) 2264856 H/P.0171-7337992 Also there are some honorary Thai consulates listed on this webpage that are in Austria. It might be worth a try to call them about getting your visa. http://www.guidetothailand.com/thailand-tr...ncon-europe.php They may even issue you a visa just upon the basis that you are close to reaching the age of 50. August 25, 200916 yr I believe you are asking what documents you need? M O N E Y is the preferred document. As LB says they will issue to visit friends so that is your reason for travel and wanting that visa.
August 25, 200916 yr No documents needed. Money only comes in later, once your reach 50. Then you need 800K in a Thai bank or an income of 65K a month certified by your embassy, in order to get a one year extension.
