sunholidaysun1
Have you noticed in Thailand all of the wooden Plaques of North American Indians in the gift shops etc ? I have even spotted a few Totum Poles around the country but have so far not been able to find out why ? I asked my wife - grazing Moo , what she thought and she said , "what are Indians", ?? I tried to explain How the West was Won, but that didnt sink in either until I mentioned 'Cowboy' Has anyone got an explanation why Thais are facinated with Geronimo and his mates ? and have you seen the Totum Poles ? cdnvic
Probably no different then the droves of people in North America who have no clue what the art actually means. It just looks nice
Birdman
Maybe because some Thais look like Indians. No, it's rather some kind of rebellious "underground" fashion items without any deeper meaning for Thais. Ask someone there, where Indians live/lived... Edit because just asked someone with a high school diploma, answer: Jamaica Edited August 27, 2009 by Birdman
