True 8mb Internet Package

Featured Replies

Does anyone else have this package? I have it and it's been terrible of late. I've been having trouble even loading pages in Thailand. I am living near Wat Arun temple.

How is yours if you have the same?

Have you checked your modem to see at what speed it is connecting? I have had very erratic connect speeds this week from True - but a resync has always resulted in full speed connection (which for me is much less than 8 megs in fact and in contract).

Same here international down to a crawl. Rapidshare currently downloading at 9 kb/s. Wondering if it's being capped?

but a resync has always resulted in full speed connection

How do you resync? Apologies for my ignorance but what is resyncing?

Cheers

by resync do you mean just turn it on and off?

That (off-on) will do it but most routers will have a method to do on one of the software pages. My D-link can use the wizzard set up process or a save and boot selection from menus.

I had the same problems and called the True callcenter (speaks english) to claim. They immediately connected me to a different server and the problem was solved. I now have around 2.7 Mbit speed for international download and 8.0 Mbit speed for domestic download.
