Msn Messenger Is Not Remembering Username And Password.

Featured Replies

I've downloaded the latest of yahoo messenger today and shit happened, somethings wrong with my windows live messenger.

Whenever i turn off my computer eventhough i checked 'remember me' on my msn messenger, it does not remember, and when i turn it on i have to write it again which is really annoying. what can I do?

"When you enter your Windows Live ID and password, then checked both Remember Me and Remember My Password option, it will continue working but once you restart your computer and launch Windows Live Messenger, you will see that your ID and password is not saved! Thanks to Jonathan Kay, he found out that Windows Live Messenger not able to remember a user’s Live ID is caused of Yahoo! Toolbar installer which messes up your Windows user profile registry. Unfortunately uninstalling the Yahoo! Toolbar will not fix the problem"

Alrite check out this link below but i havent tried it emm any suggestion?

Would creating a 'restore point' overcome the problem?.

Maybe you could help me with a MSN Messenger prob..my 'status' althogh set on my pooter as 'available' shows to all my contacts as 'off-line'..I have no idea how to fix this as I have reset it, uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail ! Regards.
