Hi all...

I am having a Non B Visa run arranged - as my O non im is almost expired. Basically, I will get a work permit from Thai company I am setting up with normal 49% ownership etc.

How long do I have before I have to apply for, or obtain a work permit with the Non B Visa??

There is none. You don't even have to have a work permit with a B visa. Only if you are working do you need one.

You will not obtain a non immigrant B visa without making application for a work permit anywhere in the area. It not ready to apply for work permit you need to obtain some other type of visa until you are. You do not need a B visa to make the work permit application.

I suspect the OP is making arrangements to get a multiple entry visa someplace outside he region.

Also to the OP are you aware that you can get another 90 entry out of your O visa by making a border run the day before it expires.

Also you do not need a B visa to get a work permit or do what you plan on doing. Another O visa will allow you to do the exact same thing.
