Toll Free Numbers

Featured Replies

G'day,

I have been given a Thai toll free number for a conference call. Doesn't look like it to me, how can I verify that it is?

The number is:

0018001...

I thought that 001 means international ?

thanks

Matt

This page http://www.tollfreeforwarding.com/thailand...ne-numbers.html suggests that it is the correct format.

I suspect the 001 simply takes you to CAT who handle these numbers.

I regularly use a toll-free number to the USA, and it begins: 001-800-1x-xxxx-xxx.

I'm not sure if it's charged by TT&T as a local call, but definitely it's not charged as an international long-distance call.
