hanno
More like between the 50D and the 1D MkIII, in the UK it is selling for 1,600 Pounds! A more reasonable USD 1,700 in the US. Press release link is here: http://www.canon-europe.com/About_Us/Press...ess_Release.asp Dpreview is here: http://www.dpreview.com/previews/canoneos7d/ Edited September 2, 2009 by hanno
Bard
OK read the preview, it's Canons new crown of Crop sensor, hence between 50D and 5D Mk II Very nice camera with 1.0 x viewfinder and other goodies, nice one Canon. astral
What happened to the 6D and 60D??????????????? I am surprised at the APS-C sensor in the xD range. The integrated wireless for the flash is a nice touch.
aeon
resolution is less than 5d but it has the same video in hd feature (24/25/30 fps) and sd at 60 fps Edited September 2, 2009 by aeon
hanno
The integrated wireless for the flash is a nice touch Indeed. it has the same video in hd feature (24/25/30 fps) and sd at 60 fps Though I can do absolutely without that feature. What happened to the 6D and 60D??????????????? From what I understand this camera fills a gap between the D and the 1D. According to this link the 60D is still rumored to be coming sometimes next year: http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/cameras/Canon_60D.html
