Hi,

If there are any English speaking guys living in, or near Uttaradit and you are interested in playing a few rounds of golf, I would be pleased to hear from you. I am not a particularly good player ( in England I was an 18 handicapper but my game has been crap since arriving here)but I generally do 9 holes at the army course two or three times a week, and they have a good driving range. Contrary to what has been said on this site it is a well laid out course, and another 9 holes are being built. The cost is not extortionate, non members pay 240 baht for 9 holes including caddy, and there is a tip of 100 baht to the caddy. Whilst I enjoy a round of golf I do miss the camaraderie which existed at my old club in the UK. I have yet to meet anyone at the Army course who speaks English.
