Hogboy
Seems I can no longer download any torrents. Have a new computer and a completely new system (which I hoped would solve the problem) but no joy. Has been suggested that Maxnet have stopped my ability to download pending some kind of upgraded package. Have spoken to then and they say only that " I should turn off my modem occasionally". Have done but nothing has changed Anyone experiencing similar ?

Saraquin
Hi I would suspect that to be at your end only, a few things to try would be Overheating or faulty modem running vista? (terrible IP4 code) got your port forwading setup correctly? Ultimately Upnp and randomizing ports helps any possible speed limiting by ports. Faulty network devices....wifi, hub/switch, NIC. also experienced terrible performance on modems that use G.Dmt instead of ADSL 2+ protocol. hope that helps cheers.
