alant
does anyone have any tips on how to stop small (2cm - 5cm) frogs from using my pool? i dont mind if they just wanted to swim (well they probably do) but they cant get out unless i spot them and they die. i would rather they lived so is there some preventitive action possible? bigger frogs never go in, or if they do they get out again undetected. alant
the pools saltwater but i guess the frogsonly find that out when they dive in. those i rescue dont seem to tell the others not to try it, it is salt., the snakes might work but they will probably die too

cdnvic
The salt in a pool isn't strong enough to deter the frogs, it's just saline at that concentration. You might try sprinkling salt on the deck around the pool and see if that works.
bestworst
Actually an equipment caleed Critter skimmer was invented for the purpose of getting rid of frogs. It is a ramp that is attatched to the skimmer cover that allows them to crawl out of the pool. Since the pool waters push everything into the skimmer then just imagine how frogs will forcely come out of the pool.
