Pattaya, September Weather

Featured Replies

I have never been to Thailand at this time of year. I land next week. The forcast looks horrible, rain every day for weeks. :):D

Does the sun still come out at times ?

Is it cloudy all the time ?

thanks.

No worries - weather will be fine. Rains for 30min then stops. 30min later you wouldnt notice it ever rained.

Britmaveric is spot on, some of these weather websites just bang the Thunder and Lightning / Rain sign on and leave it for all of Sept & Oct, not accurate to say the least!!!

No worries!! :)

Ok, I am mainly worried that the sun will not come out. Sitting on the beach on a cloudy day aint great.

Overcast today @ 7:15 am.

But seems cloud cover will be burnt off leaving it to be another wonderfull day.

It sounds like you're already on the plane and headed this way so me thinks you will enjoy life whatever the sun does. Too late to change you're plans now whatever the Sun gods do!

i've said it a million times... it's always warm enough to drink cold beer. and they never take the clouds off the forecast. and believe me, you'll welcome a little overcasting...

Yep, 9.40 now according to my computer clock and the sun is shining!! :)

Come on rain ,the garden needs you ,so does my water bill.

except for the 2 foot of water along Second Road and Pattaya Klang making them look like rivers.

Hardly rains where I am, near Wongamat beach. There was a period of 3 cloudy days in a row but now it generally is cloudy with sunny breaks.

It must be raining heavily somewhere else (inland a bit) because almost on a daily basis, I hear distant thunder, see lightning flashes and heavy rain clouds in the horizon...if not here, I hope it's at the water catchment areas! The last heavy rainfall here was 2 weeks ago!!! There was a light drizzle last week....and that's it!
