Can anyone help?

After booting up my PC my Screen/Mouse freezes after an indiscriminate time, (can be 1 minute or 1 hour)

I have an up to date Anti Virus package

Anti-virus (alone) isn't good enough nowadays... Scan your computer for malware/trojans. I recommend using Malwarebytes and/or SUPERAntiSpyware for the task. You need only download the FREE version.

If the system turns up 'clean' after having scanned for malware, constant freezing may indicate a hardware problem.

IF it is overheating just pop the side panel off and point a desk fan into that bad-boy and see how it performs with the added cooling.
