The Thai ministry of Foreign Affairs, Consular department, has put the following notice on their website:

ANNOUNCEMENT

Express service (collection of documents within the same day of submission) for legalization of translated documents will be temporarily suspended from 1 October 2009 until further notice.

It means that you can no longer wait till the legalisation of your documents is ready, but have to come back the following working day. Foreigners wanting to get married in Thailand will have to wait an extra day till their papers are ready.

Hopefully the fees of translation services won't go up, as it is no more attractive to use their service to do the leglisation for you.
