This is a bit of a rant. Over the years i have had the occasion to come in contact with a few volunteers and low paid employees who have been given the authority to make arbitrary decisions that concern me and i find that they are often times very rude, unwilling to listen to reason and generally speaking lose the plot.

I recently had this conversation with a couple of such people and really after dealing with them I felt like taking my business else where. "I am not interested in your opinions or your alleged qualifications and finally I am not interested in any complaints you may have. You will follow the rules. Whether or not this is any concern to you, it is certainly no concern to me." I'm curious if I am over reacting or if i am justified in feeling insulted. I’d be interested in reading any examples of similar situations that may have happened to you.
