Yep! Me too. Past Word and Excel I'm hopeless.

It just means the minimum requirement is XP SP2 as such SP3 satisfies it. Not really much to setup except to go to Control Panel > System and enable Remote Desktop. Make sure they are both in the same Workgroup to minimize problems and both computers have different names. Then start Remote Desktop and enter the name of the computer you want to connect to. Also, the computer requires you have configured a username with a password.

Yup I have tried that by checking the box but it still cant connect.

I have tried connecting using the computer name/tsweb/. and also the ip address/tsweb/.

but both return error : (

Any other configuration needed as I have followed the wizard but to no avail.

Just google a piece of software named “TeamViewer”

Excellent software, installed it in both comps, (even more then two comps) and work like a charm. You can access either comps.

The one I prefer is UltraVNC and is available free.

Still can't do the remote desktop on windows-but will be using VNC and teamviewer.
