Are we to be blessed with an early winter this year? It's been noticeably cooler in the evening for the past week or so...and last night I actually had to turn off the air-con in the middle of the night for the first time this Fall. Might we be in for an early and prolonged cool season this year

rainy season,does get a bit cooler,but usually warms up in november only to cool down again for winter(dec-jan)enjoy those 2 months in pattaya,although its usually the crazy season in patts with single western visitors on their annual sex tour,but the bar girls love it!

sorry nanlaew,but i am on samui,which i love,but yes sometimes i miss pattaya where i used to live,however i do venture back for a week every three months.cheers,SBC.

Normal temperatures now. Not colder than usual, not hotter. Rainshowers might make it feel cooler.

Weather

Prevailing wind is still from the South West.

Not until they swing around and the North East Monsoon winds comes in will temperatures drop significantly.

2009 was a great season if you like not too hot temperature. I hope it will continue like that till finallly the lovely winter comes to town.

Someone remarked to me that the authorities must be expecting frost as there is sand on all the roads around Jomtien.

this morning was downright chilly. loved it.

Winter is not the thing you first think about when Thailand comes in mind. Very windy here today.

According to my max/min thermometer last night (Sept 28th 2009) 74 degrees F.

Not really a big deal, because much rain.

Last 'Winter' Dec/Jan I witnessed 61 degrees F night temperature.
