If they remain airside they are in transit, only if they clear immigration are they landside, in which case they need a visa. Also, some countries require transit visa's but not sure which ones.

Usually it's a short stop in transit. The airport is small and easy to find your way around.

If A Thai wishes to spend a few days exploring Bahrain they receive a 15 day free tourist stamp on arrival.

That is most accomaditing for gents who wish to bring home some memorabilia or it retro have a memorbiliaatic venture! Bahrain..... the new Paris of the East. that was once Beruit in case people didn't know!

OK, Thanks for the replies.

So she wamt need a visa and is she does need to go landside, which sheh wont then that is no problem.

I may well travel with her but we will stall stay in transit landside and not go anywahere.
